What Do You Focus On?
Talisa focuses on assisting attorneys with all aspects of a case, including trial preparation, maintaining and reviewing documents, drafting and editing documents, and discovery research to ensure cases are efficiently handled from start to finish.
Talisa has a significant amount of experience in legal assistant and administrative roles at law firms, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, and the New Jersey Judiciary Court System. Her areas of expertise include customer service, project management, document management, litigation case management, data management, drafting and editing, research, and trial preparation. Talisa works directly with attorneys on all facets of case preparation, with a specific concentration in litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm, Talisa was an administrative specialist for the New Jersey Judiciary in the Municipal Division, providing assistance and acting as the primary liaison for judges, managers, and staff. She also conducted training sessions to address New Jersey’s criminal justice reform and its implication on municipal courts. Furthermore, Talisa was a legal secretary in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office Division of Law, managing litigation cases and providing administrative support. In addition, she was a legal assistant at two New York City law firms, supporting attorneys in case preparation by drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, conducting research, gathering discovery information, among other duties.
Talisa received her LLM from Temple University Beasley Law School and LLB from the University of London, graduating with Second Class Honors. She also studied French and took civilization courses at the Université Paris-Sorbonne.
